I am not sure of what it’ll be in Canada (probably $7.00 like the MAC pumps), but please be advised that the reason why a pump was not originally sold with the product is because 1) Francois Nars believed the best tools are the fingers. Nope !!! I just verified and the new Nars Sheer Glow bottle doesn’t fit with the Mac pump anymore □ It used to …įor all those wanting a pump - the nars website has just listed that a pump is now available for 6.00 USD. Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ Secondly, the gorgeous matte black cap gets dirty with handling, and is difficult to keep clean. But you can buy the pump separately directly from Nars, and probably other places as well. I only have two complaints about this foundation and neither of them are about the product itself, but about the packaging. I love it, it is the perfect shade for my skin. The website’s description is true for me, it gives my skin a radiant finish, and makes it appear soft and smooth. I find that this foundation feels very light on the skin, a huge plus for me as most foundations make my skin feel like it is suffocating. I chose shade Mont Blanc (Light 2) light with pink undertones. The Sheer Glow Foundation is available in 19 different shades on the Nars website (20 shades on the Sephora site). Used daily, Sheer Glow Foundation improves the skin’s brightness and texture. Replete with skincare benefits and the NARS Complexion Brightening Formula, it leaves skin hydrated, more luminous, softer and smoother. Here’s what it says on the Nars website about Sheer Glow:Ī glowing, natural radiant finish foundation with sheer and buildable coverage that immaculately evens skin tone. But based on reading several reviews of the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, I thought that this one might work for my sensitive skin. If you are new to my blog, you probably will not know that I don’t like wearing liquid foundation. If you’re interested, you can pick a bottle up for yourself at Nordstrom for $48USD or from Mecca for $64AUD.I’ve been testing out the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation for the past week and wanted to share my perspective with you all. But using Gobi and then settling it with powder works out fine, especially now that we’re entering Winter in Australia. So in a perfect world I’d own both and mix them. The shade I’m using is Gobi, which is just a tad bit light on me, however the shade below it, Deauville is too dark. And the hydrating factors for me, whilst not as good as some foundations I’ve tried is still amazing. In summary, I love this foundation! The finish is perfect for me, I love that such a small amount is all you need to cover your entire face because my foundation feels so much more lightweight. I personally avoid powdering any areas of my face that tend to suffer from dry patches. Thanks to the “luminous” properties, unless you suffer from very dry skin I would at least recommend powdering down any areas of your face you either won’t want shine or don’t want creasing. But what I did notice is that it didn’t exaggerated the dry patches I have around my eyes and at the tip of my nose! Which is something I’ve only noticed with good quality powder foundations, so that’s definitely a plus. In terms of wear, I actually found this foundation to be relatively hydrating, I worn it for a full day and whilst I noticed it did sink into my pores at around the 5-6 hour mark (still better than the Bourjois Healthy Mix Old Formula that I’m trying to finish up that sinks into my pores after only 2-3 hrs…). You can certain build this up to give you very full coverage, though you will likely need to set it with a powder right after as it has a tendency to crease with any lines you may have since it takes a little longer than most foundations to dry. However if you’re looking for full coverage, then this will likely suit your needs too. But when I used my fingers (and then a brush to blend out any harsh lines) one pump was more than enough. Since the formula is so liquid it spreads easily! I think if you were using a brush maybe you would need 1.5 pumps since the brush will absorb some of the product. This stuff is incredibly pigmented, in fact one pump is enough to give you a nice medium coverage if you don’t have any major skin issues. So logically I assumed I needed more product and dispensed another 2 pumps. Well one pump from this foundation visually looks like about 1/3 of the size of what I would get from Sheer Glow AND the formula is far more liquid. I hadn’t read any reviews so in my head I was expecting something similar to Sheer Glow in that one pump would be enough for your entire face. I have to admit that this foundation threw me off initially. Remember that foundation phase I mentioned I was on? Well it’s still going and today I have NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation to review for you.
